Benton County 4-H to present "Snow Spectacular" at the Library January 5th
The Benton County 4-H will present a "Snow Spectacular" event at the Vinton Public Library on January 5th beginning at 2:00 p.m. This is an event that would be perfect for children in grades K-5th grades.Join us to learn about blizzards, explore how meteorologists use tools to forecast weather, and help people prepare for severe weather!
Vinton Public Library Red Carpet Fundraiser March 10th, 2024
Join us Sunday, March 10th, 2024 at 5 pm for a Red Carpet Fundraiser at the Vinton Public Library! We will have drinks, appetizers, and movie trivia, along with 2 large screen TVs airing the Academy Awards Red Carpet Arrivals! The event is open to patrons 21+, and we will be accepting free-will donations. We are also selling raffle tickets for a 2-hour limo ride prior to the event, thanks in part to our sponsor Express Limousine Service of North Liberty.

Open Craft Night - Vinton Public Library After Hours for Adults
Open Craft Night will be held at the Vinton Public Library after hours event for adults!Bring your own craft project to the library, and spend time with others in our community!Everyone is welcome - no craft? No problem! We'll have colored pencils, jigsaw puzzles and a paint by number canvas available. This event will take place on Thursday, January 4th at 6:00 p.
Raising School Ready Readers Event Workshop Series begins on January 4th
Invest in your child's future! Learn fun ways to engage children in literacy play and turn everyday experiences into learning activities to help children be ready for school. Families participate together in hands-on activities that support early literacy skills in six areas.Adults and caregivers and children ages 3-6 are welcome! This is a series of five 90-minute workshops.
